Calls for the government’s intense intervention in spaza shops owned by migrants are increasing.
The latest comes from the anti-migrant group, Operation Dudula which plans to mobilize for these stores to be shut down.
This comes in the wake of school children consuming foods purchased at local spaza shops particularly in Gauteng dying.
Today, two boys from Naledi, south of Johannesburg are being laid to rest after they ate biscuits from a spaza shop.
Operation Dudula’s Zandile Dabula says they are making a nationwide call for action against spaza shops.
