Blaq Diamond and DJ Maphorisa announce music collaboration coming soon!

Blaq Diamond members and award winners Ndumiso Mdletshe(Ndu Browns) and Sphelele Dunywa(Danya Devs) are currently producing new music, along with hitmaker Themba “DJ Maphorisa” Sekowe.

Announcing the news on their social media, the duo acknowledged and appreciated the Ba Straata hitmaker for always believing in them even before they made it in the music industry.

Sharing photos of themselves with Phorry in a setup that has music equipment, Blaq Diamond captioned their post:

“@djmaphorisa was one of the first few people to believe in us before we were even signed.. after all this time we’re finally dropping something with our OG .”

The multi-award-winning Maphorisa has produced and written hits for both himself and several musicians in the entertainment sector, so he is no stranger to success

The former Ambitiouz signees admitted on Instagram that Phori was one of the few people who had faith in them prior to being signed to a label.

Maphorisa, as a record producer with a blend of house music, amapiano and afropop, he has worked with and has received production credits from several notable artists, including Wizkid, Sizwe Alakine, Kwesta, Uhuru, Drake, Black Coffee, Major Lazer, Runtown, C4 Pedro, TRESOR, Kabza De Small , Era Istrefi, Mpura, Young Stunna and Killer Kau.[7][8] He was signed to Kalawa Jazmee Records prior to establishing his own record label, BlaqBoy Music.

He rose to stardom after producing several hit singles for artists of multiple music genres, such as Uhuru (“Y-Tjukuta”), Kwesta (“Ngud'”), Busiswa (“Lahla”), DJ Zinhle (“My name Is”), Professor (“Jezebel”) and Shekinah (“Suited”).
