Direct Axis 30th Birthday Card – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
  2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
  3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
  4. The Direct Axis 30th Birthday Card Competition is brought to you by Direct Axis and Gagasi FM. The competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 10 November 2025, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 14 November 2025, on Gagasi FM.
  5. The competition will be played on The Gagasi Fast Lane, between 15h00 – 18h00 To enter the competition, entrants must visit the Gagasi FM website to fill in a competition entry form, and tell us why they need R30 000, use the themes provided including but not limited to home renovations, medical expenses, education, travel, and any other theme.
  6. Each day of the competition, the presenters will open a DirectAxis 30th Birthday Card on revealing some of the reasons people borrow according to the theme. Themes are based on the reasons people borrow and will be awarded according to each Birthday card theme: Monday (Home renovations), Tuesday (Medical expenses), Wednesday (Education), Thursday (Travel), Friday (Any theme). When on-air, entrants will share their reason for borrowing and then answer 3 quiz questions about DirectAxis.
  7. For each correct answer, they win R1000 cash prize – and if the entrant gets all 3 answers correct, they earn a bonus R2,000 cash prize. The 5 daily winners go into the draw for the final draw on Friday, 14 November to win R30,000.
  8. Entrants must use their real name and surname as reflected in their identity document.
  9.  It is encouraged that entrants also familiarise themselves with content from the Direct Axis website (www.directaxis.co.za) to assist with the quiz questions.
  10. Prize: R1000 cash for each correct answer, and R2 000 bonus for getting all 3 answers correct
  11. Winners will be notified telephonically, and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
  13. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document, and banking details sent to the station via e-mail.
  14. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
  15. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
  16. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
  17. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
  18. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  19. You will be disqualified if:
    • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
    • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
