Direct Axis “Make it happen” – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
  2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
  3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
  4. The Direct Axis “Make It Happen” Competition is brought to you by Direct Axis and Gagasi FM. The competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 22 June 2026, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 26 June 2026, on Gagasi FM.
  5. The competition will be played on The Gagasi FM Drive between 15h00 – 18h00.
  6. To enter the competition, entrants must send a WhatsApp message with the word “LOAN” to 066 050 6830. Follow the prompts, choose your loan category (Emergency, Home Improvement, Education, Medical or Business), and tell us why YOU need a loan.
  7. Each day of the competition, Direct Axis will choose a winner from the entrants. The presenters will call the winning entrant on-air, entrants will share their reason for borrowing and then answer 3 True or False quiz questions about DirectAxis.
  8. For each correct answer, they win R1000 cash prize – and bonus R2000 for getting all three right (total R5000). If the entrant had recently taken out a Direct Axis loan within the last 90 days, they get to double their prize money. The double cash prize amount is subject to verification by Direct Axis. DirectAxis is a business unit of FirstRand Bank Limited. An Authorised Financial Services and Credit Provider.
  9. Entrants must use their real name and surname as reflected in their identity document.
  10.  It is encouraged that entrants also familiarise themselves with content from the Direct Axis website (www.directaxis.co.za) to assist with the quiz questions.
  11. Prize: R1000 cash for each correct answer, and R2 000 bonus for getting all 3 answers correct. If the entrant had recently taken out a Direct Axis loan within the last 90 days, they get to double their prize money.
  12. Winners will be notified telephonically, and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
  14. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document, and banking details sent to the station via e-mail.
  15. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
  16. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
  17. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
  18. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry. 
  19. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  20. You will be disqualified if:
    • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
    • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
