Dumi Mkokstad & Wife Dr Ziphozenkosi Welcome Baby Boy, Neyame

A while back, gospel singer Dumi Mkokstad and his wife Dr Ziphozenkosi informed their fans that they were expecting a child. The news provoked a wave of congratulations back then, with their admirers letting them know they were looking forward to her giving birth.

Well, that time id here finally. The couple has just announced that they now have a child. Dr Ziphozenkosi has just given birth to a bouncing baby boy.

In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Zipho indicated that she had given birth. She did this by simply sharing the names of her newborn. The name of her son, she noted is Neyame, a contraction of Neyame’nkosini, which means “lean on God” in English.

Before she gave birth, Dr Zipho took to her Instagram timeline to pen a sweet note to her unborn baby and shared snaps from her maternity shoot accompanied by a Bible verse.

”You are loved beyond understanding. I pray for you every moment I get and already know what a blessing you are to our family. I thank God for your life and know it is by His grace that we made it so far. In all your life always: ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your mind and your soul, and do not lean on your own understanding‘,” she wrote.

Marking the occasion, Dumi penned a heartfelt message to his better half.

“Every time I look at my wife, I see God’s love. As I always say to her, I thought I had lost her. I thought it was impossible. I thought she was too good for me. So much had been said about me. Every time I need to remind myself of how much God loves me I always look next to me. Ziphozenkosi is truly my treasure. In every sense of the word. A gift from the Lord. Proof of God’s unfailing love,” he wrote.

The child’s second name is Ulilanga, which means “he is our sun,” according to her. The third name is “Lulibo,” which translates to “first fruit” in English.

She wasn’t done with just the naming, however, as she also penned a deep note to the kid, letting him know that he is deeply loved by his parents.

The reactions to the news of the birth have been overwhelmingly positive, with tweeps celebrating both mother and child for a successful delivery. Indeed, as one fan noted, good times are here for Dumi and his young family.
