GAGASI FM Money Or The Box competition TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Before you enter the competition please read competition rules below:

2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be
   bound by these terms and conditions.
   The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer
   of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be
   entered into after the fact.
3. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio
   iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a
   result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
4. The Gagasi FM Money or The Box Competition is brought to you by Gagasi FM. The
   competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 4 August 2025, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 15
   August 2025 on Gagasi FM.
5. The Competition will be played on all weekday shows 6am – 6pm (Uprising, Lift Off, Midday
   Connection and Gagasi Fm Fast Lane) and on weekend shows, Urban Top 40 (9am – 1pm),
   Saturday Groove (1pm – 4pm), Urban Soul Sundays (10am – 2pm) Shutdown Yomhlaba
   (6pm – 10pm).
6. To enter the competition, listeners must follow the following steps
   Step 1 – Download the Gagasi Fm app, via the Google Play store or Apple App store.
   Step 2 – Register by clicking on the “Sign me up” button and fill in their details to confirm their
   profile.
   Step 3 – Click on the “Messages” tab, and under the conversations tab select “Message The
   Studio”
   Step 4 – Send their contact details (name, surname, and number) with the hashtag

MoneyOrTheBox. This is a “Send only” message channel, and contact information will only

be visible to the station representative via the back end of the app.

7. On the competition days, the competition will air once a day on participating shows. The show
   presenters will choose one listener from the app, put them on air, and the listener will get to
   choose between what’s in the box or the money. After the timer runs out, the listener wins
   whatever was their last decision, and that is what they choose.
8. Cash Prizes: Various cash prizes ranging from R1500 to R3000
9. Box Prizes: Smart TV valued at R1 899, Sound Bar valued at R1799, Grocery voucher at
   R1500, Air fryer valued at R1900, Grocery voucher valued at R1000
10. Winners will be notified telephonically and the judge’s decision will be final, and no
    correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Prize is not transferable to another person, nor can it be exchanged for cash.
12. Winners to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document sent to the
    station via e-mail.
13. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
14. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including
    without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
15. Entries which contain errors will be invalid.
16. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the
    competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
17. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being
    successfully submitted.
18. You will be disqualified if:

• You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
• You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three
  months.
