Before you enter the competition please read competition rules below:

  1. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you
    agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or
    organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or
    correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
  2. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and
    Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or
    harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty)
    Ltd’s competition.
  3. The Youth In Business CSI Competition is brought to you by Gagasi FM. The
    competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 2 June 2025 and ends at 23:59 on Friday,
    27 June 2025 on Gagasi FM.
  4. The CSI Competition will be played on The Uprising (6am-9am) or The Lift Off
    (9am-12pm).
  5. To enter the competition, participants are required to send a 1-minute video via the
    Gagasi FM app, telling us about their business and how getting exposure from
    Gagasi FM will assist their business? Don’t forget to use #KZNYouthInBusiness.
    The participants’ business must comply with the entry criteria.
  6. The entry criteria are as follows.
    7.1 A maximum of 1 (One) entry is allowed per business.
    7.2 Participants must be between the ages 18 (Eighteen) to 35 (thirty-five) years
    and must be a South African citizen or permanent resident (required to attach
    certified copy of ID or passport).
    7.3 The business must have been in operation for a period of at least 12 (months)
    months
    7.4 And must be able to provide the below
    7.4.1 Confirmation of Banking Details not older than 3 months (required
    to attach confirmation letter from the relevant bank)
    7.4.2 BEE Affidavit /Certificate
    7.4.3 Tax Clearance Certificate & Pin Number (If the above-mentioned
    company is VAT registered)
    7.4.4 Company Documents (CM29 for Companies and CK1 for Close
    Corporations, ID for Individuals)
  7. The prize per Winner includes:

8.1 Airtime exposure on Gagasi FM to the value of R50 000.00 (fifty thousand
rands) excluding vat for the winner to use for promoting their business.
8.2 Winner will receive R5000.00 towards their business which will be deposited
into their business account. The R5000.00 will be payable into their account
between the 1 st July 2025 until the 30 th September 2025.
8.3 The airtime allocated may not be used for any third party mentions or for
promoting any other business either then the selected.
8.4 The airtime will be available to the business to use from the 1 st of July 2025
until the 30 th of September 2025. Should the value-cap of the airtime not be
reached during the term for any reason whatsoever, then, notwithstanding
this, the winners shall not be entitled to any roll-over of such airtime or any
compensation whatsoever in relation to the balance of such airtime. Upon the
expiry of the term any remaining airtime value shall be deemed to be forfeited
by the winners.

  1. Selection of winners.

9.1 A total of 2 (two) winners will be selected by the judging panel.
9.2 The finalists will be vetted by the panel of judges and winners will be
announced live on-air and on social media platforms on the 30 th of
June 2025.
9.3 Participants must enter their correct/legible contact details. If a
winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves
the right to select another winner in terms of these rules.

  1. Winners will be announced on The Uprising or on The Lift Off show on the 30 th of
    June 2025 and on Gagasi FM’s social media platforms. By entering the
    competition, prize winners agree to the publication of their name, the name of their
    business, a brief description of their business and photographs of their business
    operations and/or themselves, by the Promoter.
  2. Winners will be notified telephonically, and the judge’s decision will be final, and no
    correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Prize is not transferable to another person, nor can it be exchanged for cash.
    The prize will be paid directly to the registered company’s banking details.
  4. The above information must be emailed to the station email address:
    [email protected]. The name on the Identity Document should match
    the name used on-air during the competition.
  5. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
  6. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating
    including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise
    falsifying data.
  7. Entries which contain errors will be invalid. The name that the winner uses on-air
    must match the name on the Identity Document.
  8. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate
    in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
  9. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not
    being successfully submitted.
  10. You will be disqualified if:
  • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
  • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the
    past three months.
