KZN Human Settlements MEC Sipho “KK” Nkosi says politics should not stand on the way of improving people’s lives in terms of effective service delivery.

Nkosi has embarked on an ongoing operation Siyahlola campaign in Ugu District, South of the province, and identified numerous challenges.

He says one of the most devastating challenges he has encountered is that housing projects have been since 2016.

Adding that this matter is politically influenced, and he will ensure he tables it to the cabinet.

Nkosi has urged political parties and residents to ensure that they do not disturb service delivery, especially when voicing their concerns.
