Actress and model Natasha Thahane has announced her split from Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch, whom she shares a child with.
Natasha and Thembinkosi’s relationship has been a rumour for a few years, with no one between the pair coming forward to confirm the association. Even though the pair were private about their affair that did not stop internet investigators from digging into their lives quickly to notice photos taken at the same place but shared individually.
Later into their then-rumoured relationship, the pair were said to have tied the knot. This thought came from pictures shared by Natasha of herself in a black and white mbhaco (a Xhosa traditional attire) at a traditional ceremony in Soweto with her friends and colleagues present.
It was only now that Natasha publicly acknowledged the relationship’s existence while announcing its ending.
Taking to her Instagram, the mother of one shared:
“Thembinkosi Lorch and I have mutually decided to part ways romantically. Despite the change in our relationship, we will remain friends and co-parents. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life. #NewBeginnings”
In response to the news of the breakup, South Africans seemed unfazed, with many suggesting that there were more significant issues to focus on. Some commented that she was the one who ended things with Lorch. Here are a few of the comments:
