KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, says they are worried about the lawyers that have been hired to represent the accused in the murder case of Kiernan AKA Forbes and Tebello Motsoane.
Five of the seven suspects that were nabbed by detectives made their first appearance in the Durban Magistrates Court yesterday.
It’s been just over a year since the rapper and his former manager were shot dead outside a restaurant on Durban’s Florida Road.
The accused, Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Eddie Myeza, Lindani and Lindokuhle Ndimande, and Mziwethemba Gwabeni had already acquired private legal counsel before the case started.
It’s been postponed to the 6th of this month for further investigation and bail verification.
Mkhwanazi is concerned about how these suspects can afford such expensive lawyers.
