RAMA REMIX TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Before you enter the competition please read terms and conditions below:
2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
4. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in the competition at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
5. The Rama Remix competition is brought to you by Rama. The competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 2 October 2023, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 6 October 2023. The competition will be played on the Gagasi FM drive 3pm – 6pm.
6. To enter the Rama Remix competition, listeners must download and register their profile on the Gagasi FM App, entrants will be asked to remix and add their own verse on to the Rama jingle “Just one bite and you know you’re right,” and then send voice note with their verse to the Gagasi FM mobile app and the hashtag #RamaRemix, on the “Message the studio” tab by 12:00 Thursday, 5 October 2023.
7. The selected winners, from Monday 2 October to Thursday 5 October, will be judged by the Presenters on air, the grand winner will be announced on Friday, 6 October with all 4 finalist audio visuals posted on the Gagasi FM Facebook page for listeners to vote.
8. The public/listeners will be invited to voice their opinion on the best jingle, via the Gagasi FM Facebook page, and their opinions will be noted by the “Like” reaction, on the 4 finalist jingle remixes. Public votes constitute 30% of the overall final judging (which will be audited) however, the final decision lies with the internal judging panel.
9. By entering the competition and submitting lyrics or a voice recording to the radio station through any of the radio station platform(s), each entrant agrees that any intellectual property rights attached to the lyrics and/or voice recording(s) in terms of the Copyright Act No. 98 of 1978, as amended are automatically assigned to Siqalo Foods (Pty) Ltd.
10. The prize: R5000 cash, the grand prize winner will win an additional R5000 cash prize
11. Winners will be notified telephonically and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
13. The winner will need to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document or birth certificate and confirmation of banking details.
14. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
15. Entries which contain errors will be invalid.
16. Any entries received after the competition period has ended will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
17. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
18. You will be disqualified if:
