President Cyril Ramaphosa is eyeing the MSC Cruise to boost the KwaZulu Natal economy.

He has pledged to ensure the cruise line commits to its investment agreement of 350 million rands into the province.

Ramaphosa delivered a keynote speech at the inaugural Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal opening ceremony held at the Durban port last night.

He was joined by Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube, eThekwini municipality Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda … as well as Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan.
