Research Dismiss Bogus Stats On Women

Professor Khangelani Zuma has dismissed a recent headline by a national newspaper which says ‘Black women don’t want condoms’.
He says this reveals a lack of research and puts at risk the quality of work done by researchers.
The Star newspaper published an article in its latest release which reports that the Health Science Research Council has found that women of color are refusing to use condoms.
Zuma slams this article which has since been taken down following backlash from the public.
He says according to correct statistics on their records, the number of women who avoid using protection during sexual intercourse is equivalent to those of men despite race.
Zuma is among the professionals engaging journalists on the sixth South African National HIV Prevalence, Incidence, and Behaviour Survey in Durban.
