Yay!!! Baby Mayers number two is here. At least, that’s the story that’s going around.

TMZ reports that sources say Rihanna welcomed a second baby boy with A$AP Rocky under everyone’s nose on Aug. 3 in LA. He joins big brother RZA, both in being the child of two of the biggest stars, but also in reportedly having a name that starts with the letter “R.”

One of the last times Rihanna was publicly photographed out and about was in late July. She first announced that she was pregnant for the second time when she took the stage to perform for the Halftime Show on the NFL’s biggest night back on Feb. 12. She started her performance rubbing her belly, which at that point, was a pretty good size.

Her first child was born on May 13, 2022, and when his first birthday came around, her son’s name was leaked as RZA Athelston Mayers, an ode to RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.

The “Needed Me” artist’s latest addition to her family comes after she surprised fans in a matter of four (or five) seconds when she revealed her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February.

Ahead of her triumphant return to the stage for the first time in seven years, the Grammy winner opened up about motherhood being the biggest reason behind her taking the leap for the big game.

“When you become a mom, there’s just something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world,” she explained during a Feb. 9 interview with Apple Music. “You can do anything and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.”

And though the performer admitted the feat was “scary,” Rihanna noted she found courage in an inspirational place.

A$AP Rocky Has New Album on the Way

News of the new baby comes as A$AP Rocky is prepping his new album Don’t Be Dumb. Rocky debuted songs from the album during his recent performance at 2023 Rolling Loud Miami. One track finds him appearing to take shots at Travis Scott. He also dissed Iann Connor and A$AP Bari. Last week, A$AP Rocky shared a cryptic tweet that appeared to reveal the album would be dropping in August. In hindsight, he may have been referring to his child’s birth.
