The Miss South Africa 2023 event was nothing short of spectacular… and that includes the fashion!

The pageant, which took place on Sunday night at the SunBet Arena Time Square in Pretoria, hosted by media personality Bonang Matheba,  crowned BCom Marketing Management graduate and fashion designer Natasha Joubert as their winner, runner-up was Johannesburg’s Bryoni Govender. Natasha Joubert becomes the first winner to wear the Mowana (Tree of Life) crown from Nungu Diamonds. Runner-up was Johannesburg’s Bryoni Govender.

Judging the pageant were five talented ladies: Reigning Miss Universe, R’Bonney Nola Gabriel, actress and entrepreneur Leandie du Randt, actress and L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Ambassador Thuso Mbedu, award-winning investigative television journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, businesswoman and Miss South Africa 2001 title holder Jo-Ann Strauss.

Here are some of the looks of the night:

Newly crowned Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert’s ‘ultimate goal is to inspire the younger generation, demonstrating that second chances do exist and, with determination and support, anyone can rise above their circumstances’. ❤
