Clean-up teams are working diligently to enhance road conditions on the N11 near Amajuba Pass in Charlestown, in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal where six trucks were set ablaze during protests.

The road, now challenging to traverse due to spillages has initiated a stop-and-go system for clean-up.

Protests commenced late yesterday and continued into today, with the motive still unclear.

Road Traffic Inspectorate spokesperson Sindi Msimang says no injuries have been reported.
