Standard Bank Gagasi FM Loves – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
  2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
  3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
  4. The Standard Bank Gagasi FM Loves Competition is brought to you by Standard Bank and Gagasi FM. The competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 18 May 2026, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 17 July on Gagasi FM.
  5. The competition will be played on The Gagasi FM Mid-Morning show between 09h00 – 12h00. 
  6. To enter the competition, entrants must visit the Gagasi FM website to fill in a competition entry form and answer the question ” What should everyone know about your business. The webpage link (insert link) 
  7. The competition will be executed in three phases, with each phase having the same roll-out. Phase 1: 18 – 22 May, Phase 2: 15 – 19 June, Phase 3: 13 – 17 July
  8. For each competition phase, 4 business entrants will be selected to be profiled on air between Monday and Thursday. The profile will be a recorded 60-second audio that will be played on-air during the Gagasi FM Loves segment
  9. On Friday of each phase, Friday 22nd of May, Friday 19th of June, and Friday 17th of July, one business from the four profiled businesses will be selected as the winner. The Gagasi FM squad will then deliver the prize money cheque to the winning business on Friday.
  10. Prize: R25 000 cash prize. If the business has a valid Standard Bank account, they will be awarded an additional R25 000
  11. Winners will be notified telephonically, and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
  13. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document, Company Registration documents, and company banking details sent to the station via e-mail.
  14. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
  15. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
  16. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
  17. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry. 
  18. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  19. You will be disqualified if:
    • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
    • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
