One of South Africa’s favourite R&B singers, Elaine (real name Elaine Moyo), is making a comeback after taking a short break.
She’s about to drop her first single of the year and it promises to be huge. The new track, “Waiting on You“, offers a peek into her upcoming debut album.

Elaine’s been working hard on this album and she’s beyond excited.
She took to Instagram to share: “This doesn’t even feel real but I’m so excited that we’re finally here. 😭🥺 The first single from my debut album is yours this Friday. 💿✨ Thank you for your patience, Shining Stars.
“I can’t wait to share my journey with you and bring you into this little world that I’ve created. 🌍💿 This music means so much to me, and I hope that it does the same for you as it’s done for me”.

Elaine first hit the big time in 2019 with her debut EP “Elements”. This EP was a game-changer, featuring her unique voice and earning tons of praise. With tracks like “You’re the One” and “When I’m in Love,” Elaine quickly became a name to remember.

“Waiting on You,” drops on August 2 and if it’s anything like her previous hits, it’s going to be fire.
