The Police Ministry has revealed that close to 7000 people have been murdered in this country between July and September this year.
The police’s top brass has been briefing Parliament this morning, on the country’s crime statistics for the second quarter of 2023.
Major General Norman Sikhukhune says this figure is a reduction of 0.8%, compared to the same period last year.
The minister will later today release the results to the public, during a media briefing.
