Matric Learners Urged To Celebrate Responsibly

KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Mbali Frazer has expressed sadness at the tragic death of three matric learners from Mnyamande High School near Newcastle in the northern part of KZN.
They were returning home from a pens down party when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a collision in the Amajuba District.
Three others have also been injured and are currently in hospital.
The department’s spokesperson, Muzi Mahlambi, says the MEC has reiterated that matrics celebrating the end of their school careers must do so responsibly.
