The Premier Soccer League has been criticized by AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martin for scheduling Usuthu’s DStv Premiership meeting with Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The PSL postponed the game to give Pirates a week off before the MTN8 final, which they won on penalties against Mamelodi Sundowns.
In contrast to AmaZulu FC, the Buccaneers now get an extra day to prepare for the encounter. Pirates won the Carling Knockout at home against Cape Town Spurs on Friday evening, but AmaZulu had to go to Johannesburg to overcome Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday evening.
