Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedric Kaze has confirmed that new signings Paseka Mako and Ethan Chislett will be available for selection when they tackle Polokwane City in a Betway Premiership clash on Wednesday night. Amakhosi will be searching for a second successive victory as they head into this encounter at the back of a 2-0 victory away to Stellenbosch FC in their season opener last weekend.

Mako, who joined Chiefs from rivals Orlando Pirates in the off season, has been cleared for his return to action by the Chiefs medical team after making a full recovery from a broken arm. While Chislett has received the required paperwork to register as a local player. Pule Mmodi is available for selection after serving a suspension for a red card he received against Stellenbosch FC in the penultimate league match last season.

“We didn’t have any injuries from the last game or any suspensions, and as well we are gonna have a couple of players back from various reasons,” said Kaze, speaking in the absence of Nasreddine Nabi who is away from the club due to family commitments.

“Mmodi (Pule) is back from his suspension, Ethan is available for selection after his paperwork has been resolved. Mako as well is available for selection after being cleared by the medical staff and I think we are in a very good space for tomorrow.”
