The state, in the murder case of slain musician Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes has put in a request for a postponement of the case for further investigation.

This while two of the seven accused still need to be extradited from eSwatini as they were arrested for their connection to the crime.

AKA was gunned down alongside his long time friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane on the 10th of February last year outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban.

Seven men have been nabbed for this case and five of them are making their first appearance at the Durban Magistrate Court today.

The state is asking for more time.
