Azana and Sam Deep Announce Collaborative EP Kwakhanya

Azana, the acclaimed South African singer and songwriter, has revealed the exciting news of her upcoming collaborative EP with Amapiano DJ and producer, Sam Deep.
Titled “Kwakhanya,” this project marks the convergence of two distinct worlds – spirituality and religion – with the aim of offering solace and healing to individuals grappling with life’s challenges.
In a recent social media announcement, Azana expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating,
“Finally sharing the birth of the highly anticipated collaboration between myself and Sam Deep – ‘Kwakhanya.’ This project represents merging the two different worlds of spirituality and religion, healing individuals facing obstacles in their daily lives. We are depicting the power of being guided and protected by God and our ancestors. In those words ngithi sukumani Makhosazana, ngisho nina boMasango, boMwelase, Mazibuko, Zintu zomkonto. “Kwakhanya,” a Xhosa word meaning “God brings light” or “enlightenment,” promises to deliver a profound musical experience that resonates with listeners on a spiritual level.
