Durban High Court Resumes Corruption Trial Of Zandile Gumede And 21 Co-Accused

Former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede is set to return to the Durban High Court this morning for the multi-million-rand corruption trial.

She is accused alongside 21 others which include former municipality workers and ANC councillors.

They are being linked to a corruption case that costs over R300 000 0000 that the state alleges the accused pocketed.

The trial returned to court early this week and was postponed due to accused number 9 Cynthia Nzuza not having legal representation.
