The Hollywoodbets Sharks will be looking to build on their impressive 22-12 win over Irish giants Ulster last weekend when they host Scottish side Edinburgh at the Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium on Saturday. Coach John Plumtree made five changes to his team, as we are going to see a Springbok front row. Bongi Mbonambi keeps his place at hooker for this match, Ox Nche will start ahead of Ntuthuko Mchunu and new boy Vincent Koch will make his first appearance in the Black and White after making his debut last weekend.

Emile Van Heerden will start ahead of Gerbrandt Grobler at lock, Pepsi Buthelezi will move to eight in place of the injured George Cronje which will open up space for James Venter to return to the side. Eduan Keyter picked up an injury last weekend and will be replaced by Werner Kok.

World Cup winner Vincent Koch made his long awaited debut for the Sharks last weekend, and during the week he spoke to the media about the importance of the returning players in the squad and how it will build healthy competition in the group for the rest of the season.

“I think coach Plum said it previously as well he always had a few challenges in different positions but now we are all fit. We all push each other, we can get the best out of each other, there is nothing better than healthy competition in the group,” said Koch.

“I think we are all back we all fit and that will definitely build momentum. I think not only just the Springboks I think the rest of the squad it is just unbelievable players, you know they have unbelievable talent and hard working players. So if we can just get the cohesion right and train together and build some momentum things will definitely look different at the end of the season,” Koch added.
