Gagasi FM Sports specialist Mike Makaab has given an update on the future of his client Andile Jali amid the uncertainty that surrounds his football career. The 33-year old is not on the books of any club at the moment after being released by Moroka Swallows in January this year. Jali was one of a number of Swallows players who were sacked by the Soweto club, after what they described as an “illegal strike” by the players, just six months after signing with the Dube birds from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Speaking on Extratime on Gagasi FM his long time agent Mike Makaab says AJ is still considering his future and contemplating whether he will continue to play football after almost twenty years as a professional player.
“Andile at the moment is contemplating his future as to whether he will continue to play or not, I will probably be meeting Andile in the next two weeks or so and a decision I think will then be made, and I will let Andile announce that decision himself”, said Makaab.
“You must understand that Andile has been with me for 14 years, he is not just a client he is my son as all the players are, the most important thing is for them to make that decision,” Makaab added.
