The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Thoko Didiza held a meeting with King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini in his capacity as the new chairperson of Ingonyama Trust Board.
The meeting was requested by the King in order to communicate in person the decision he as a sole trustee of Ingonyama Trust has taken, in recalling his nominee, Inkosi Mzimela.
Minister Didiza has also briefed the King about his new role, it’s statutory obligations the role of the board and it’s accountability to Parliament and communities whose land is under the Trust.
