MK Party Slams Leak of ANC Document Revealing Zuma’s Expulsion

The MK Party has condemned the leak of an ANC National Disciplinary Committee document that reveals former President Jacob Zuma’s expulsion from the party.

According to the leaked document, the committee found Zuma guilty of breaching the ANC’s constitution and recommended his expulsion. This decision follows Zuma’s public endorsement of the uMkhonto Wesizwe Party ahead of the 29 May elections.

The document also states that Zuma has 21 days to appeal the decision to the National Disciplinary Committee of Appeal. The former president’s hearing was held virtually last week, with party Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula serving as the key witness.

MK Party spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela informed the national broadcaster that they have not yet received any formal communication from the ANC.
