Speaker of the KwaZulu Natal Legislature Nontembeko Boyce has assured that rules of the house will apply at the State of the Province Address (SOPA) for order purposes.

She says all members of the legislature who will be attending SOPA will be expected to obey the rules and avoid disruptions.

Boyce has made this statement while addressing the media in Durban on the provincial government’s readiness for the KZN SOPA set for next week Wednesday.

The security and discipline remark comes at the back of disruptions which erupted, in last year’s SOPA by members of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

She says no interruptions will be accepted.
