Shell Spotlight COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
   The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
4. The Shell Spotlight Competition is brought to you by Shell and Gagasi FM. The competition starts at 00:00 on the 8 September 2026, and ends at 23:59 on 16 September 2026 on Gagasi FM.
5. The Competition will be played on The Gagasi FM Fast Lane show between 15h00 and 18h00, and Gagasi FM Facebook and Gagasi FM Instagram.
6. To enter the competition, entrants must visit Gagasi FM’s social media pages (Facebook & Instagram) and comment on the Shell Spotlight competition post with a Shell Selfie (An image taken on-site any Shell service station nationwide, Shell branding must be visible in the image) or share their Shell Service Story (This can be an account of an when stopped at a Shell during a road trip road trip, maybe it’s an amazing attendant who gave you great service, or it’s a Shell moment you’ll never forget) with the keywords #ShellSpotlight #ShellVPower.
7. Entrants will be selected from the social media post comments section and required to share their personal information with the Gagasi FM social media administrator, to verify their authenticity of their social media profile and entry. The information that will be required is Name & Surname, SA ID number, Location, Email Address and Contact Number.
8. The winning entrants will be announced in two phases. The first 11 winning entrants will be announced on Gagasi FM social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram) on 9^th of September (x2 winner announcements), 10^th of September (x2 winner announcements), 11^th of September (x1 winner announcement), 14^th of September (x2 winner announcements), 15^th of September (x2 winner announcements) and 16^th of September (x2 winner announcements). On 11^th of September (x2 winner announcements) and 16^th of September (x1 winner announcement), three of the best entries from social media will be called on air to be awarded a VVIP prize.
9. 11 Social Media Prizes: R2,500 cash, plus double General Access tickets to The BMW Gen M Park-Off event taking place on Saturday, 19 September at the Shell NPN Auto Pinetown (12 St Johns Avenue)
10. 3 On-air VVIP Prizes: x3 General Access tickets to the BMW Gen M Track Day event taking place on 18 September 2026 at the Dezzi Raceway (Lot 28 District Rd, Port Shepstone, 4240), plus x3 VVIP Hospitality access tickets at the Gen M Day Off-Park event taking place on Saturday, 19 September at the Shell NPN Auto Pinetown (12 St Johns Avenue)
11. By entering the Shell Spolight competition, entrants consent to have their name and surnames published on Gagasi FM social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
12. Transport to and from the Shell events will be for the winner’s account.
13. Winners will be notified telephonically, the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Prize is not transferable for cash or to another person.
15. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document, and banking details sent to the station via e-mail.
16. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
17. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
18. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
19. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
20. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
21. You will be disqualified if:
    • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
    • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
