Spar Proteas return to the court with a clash against World Champions

The Spar Proteas will return to action for the first time in almost two months against the world champions Australia in a three-match series away from home. The first test will take place in the city of Cairns on Wednesday morning, followed by the second match on Sunday 29 October 2023 in the City of Hobart, and the last match of the series will take place on Tuesday 31 October 2023. The last time the Spar Proteas took to the court was in the 2023 Netball World Cup on home soil, with their last match being the 49-47 loss against the She Cranes of Uganda.

South Africa and Australia did not meet in the 2023 Netball World Cup, with their previous meeting being in the Quad Series early in the year ahead of the World Cup. The world champions are fresh from a Constellation Cup win against New Zealand, and will now turn their attention to playing against the fith-ranked South African team in the test series.
