Tourism Sector Works On Interventions To Curb Crime

Tourism minister Patricia de Lille says the tourism sector is lucrative; however, criminal activities threaten its growth.
The minister has been addressing delegates attending the Africa’s Travel Indaba at the Durban International Convention Centre.
She says the Tourism Investment Seminar focuses on combating crime in the tourism sector while showcasing investment opportunities in South Africa.
De Lille has emphasised that crime eradication will boost tourism rates across the continent’s tourism sector.
