President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on traditional leaders to play an active role in the fight against gender based violence and protection of women and children.
The President has been addressing the opening of the National House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders in Cape Town today.
He has called for open dialogues which will see men engage and help one another to stop gender-based violence.
Ramaphosa says male traditional leaders should be in the forefront of these dialogues.
