Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his final 23-man squad for the June International friendly matches. South Africa will face Tanzania on 6 June at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, and clash with Mozambique at Loftus Versfeld four days later.

The Belgian tactician has trimmed his squad down from an initial 41-man preliminary team, that includes a good blend of youth and experience. He opted against selecting Mamelodi Sundowns players who are currently in action in the CAF Champions League final against Pyramids FC, and will soon jet-off to the USA for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Orlando Pirates quartet of Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Mohau Nkota, Simphiwe Selepe and Deano van Rooyen have been handed their maiden national call-ups. Defenders Khulumani Ndamane and Samkelo Kabini have also received the nod for the first time in the national team.
