Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed it’s new technical team ahead of the 2024/25 PSL season. Amakhosi had already announced Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi as the new head coach of the club, but have now provided further information about his deal and his technical team. Nabi has signed a two-year deal with an option to extend for one year, which will see him stay at Naturena until 2026.
The former Young Africans coach has assembled a four-man technical team that includes Khalil Ben Youssef , who worked with Nabi at AS Far helping the club finish as runners-up in Morocco, as his first assistant. French-born Fernando da Cruz will serve as the second assistant coach, former Mauritanian national team goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi will be man to sharpen the Chiefs goalkeepers, and experienced trainer Safi Madji will work as the strength and conditioning coach at Amakhosi.
Nabi and his technical team have already started their work at the club’s pre-season camp in Turkiye ahead of the 2024/25 PSL season.
