Kaizer Chiefs FC have announced the departure of striker Ranga Chivaviro as the club opted not to renew his contract that will come to a conclusion at the end of June. The 32-year old has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Naturena-based club after a tough two seasons at the club.
Chivaviro made a total of 45 appearances in the Black and Gold of Amakhosi, scoring nine goals and providing one assist. He is the third player to be shown the door at Chiefs at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, after Njabulo Blom and Sabelo Radebe also left the club.
Kaizer Chiefs statement:
“Kaizer Chiefs will not be extending striker Ranga Chivaviro’s contract when it expires at the end of the month.”
“We thank Ranga for his positive contribution to the team and wish him all the best in his future exploits.”
