Gagasi FM announces the new on-air line-up

It is that time of the year again. Gagasi FM, the Sound of KZN unveils the line-up for the new season that will go live from 1 April 2025.

There are no changes in the six-to-six weekday shows following the success of the previous season. The Uprising with Felix Hlophe and Minnie Ntuli (06:00 – 09:00), The Lift Off with Njabs Zwane (09:00 – 12:00), Midday Connexion with DJ Sonic and Khaya Mthethwa (12:00 – 15:00) and Gagasi Fast Lane with Sphectacula and DJ Naves (15:00 – 18:00). Extra Time is also coming back with Simtho Dladla and Mike Makaab on Mondays and Fridays, as well as Indaba Open Line with Manelisi Ndwandwe on Mondays (19:00 – 20:00) and the Alex Mthiyane on Tuesdays to Thursdays (18:00 – 20:00). DJ Vumar will also continue with the Sunrise Sessions on weekdays (04:00 – 06:00).

There are some new exciting changes in the weekend line-up, starting with the new Friday edition of Umsindo Takeover with Mkay Music and Sphokuhle (22:00 – 01:00), then follows by Ngcebo Bhengu on The Massive Weekends on Saturdays and Sundays (01:00 – 04:00). Lwandle Masoka will be waking up KZN on both Saturdays and Sundays on Early Rises (04:00 – 06:00) and DJ Vumar will be holding it down on The Dance Cabin on Saturdays (22:00 – 01:00). Another rising star Nkulee Mbatha will now be hosting Gagasi Sunday Groove (14:00 – 18:00). Lusanda Mnqayi will host the Midnight Sound on Mondays to Thursdays (01:00 – 04:00).

Gagasi FM would also like to welcome the new kid on the block Sbu Lushozi who will be hosting The Wrap Up on Sundays (22:00 – 00:00). Lushozi has been with MUT Radio which is the campus radio station at Mangosuthu University of Technology.
