The Electoral Commission in KwaZulu-Natal says political tolerance remains one of the challenges faced by the province.

The commission says the continuous killing of politicians taking place, especially in this province indicates that there is little to no tolerance among the political parties.

The Provincial Electoral Officer in the province, Ntombifuthi Masinga, shared these sentiments during the IEC and SANEF media training held in Durban recently.

The aim was to discuss matters related to the General Elections in the country in 2024.

Masinga says as the IEC they are aware that tolerance in politics is still an issue in the province judging by the political killings of ward councilors.

Here is what Masinga had to say.
