Gagasi FM Sports specialist Mike Makaab has confirmed that midfielder Andile Jali is close to joining a new PSL team, which will end his spell on the sidelines without a football club. Jali has been out of action and without a club since leaving Moroka Swallows in December last year, as the Soweto side experienced financial trouble. The 34 year old is still eager to play football at the highest level, and his agent Mike Makaab has confirmed they are in talks with a DSTV Premiership team that Jali could join for the 2024/25 season.
“I can only say that we are very close to finalising a new home for him, I will not disclose that now but I can asure you that it will happen within the next seven to ten days, all things being equal,” said Makaab speaking on Extratime on Gagasi FM.
“The talks are at an advanced stage between ourselves, AJ and this particular football club. He is remaining in the DSTV Premiership. I am not even prepared to whisper the province, soon enough you will find out.”
