KZN female Boxers will headline Rise of women in Boxing event in Durban

KZN female Boxers will headline the first event of the newly launched Rise of Women in Boxing Series, that will take place at the Olive Convention centre in Durban on Saturday 19 August 2023. A total of seven KZN female Boxers will be in action on the night, with the main bout featuring Pietermariztburg’s Mapule Ngubane who will face one of her fierce rivals Rushda Malick for the South African middleweight title. This will be the second meeting between these two fighters who last touched gloves in March 2022 where Ngubane was victorius by unanimous decision.

On the night three fights will feature KZN fighters only as that will be the huge focus of this event that is jointly hosted by Mvelo Boxing promotions, Starline Boxing promotios, Hle Jobe Boxing promotions and Sugarboy Malinga Boxing promotions.
