The Proteas Men’s team will play a historic one-off T20 International against the Namibia Men’s Cricket team, Cricket South Africa confirmed on Tuesday. This will be the first ever international meeting between the two sides, in a historic moment for Cricket on the African continent.
The match will be staged at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek on 11 October 2025, in what will the official opening of the venue. The NCG will host the ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup in 2026, and more importantly, the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup, jointly with South Africa and Zimbabwe
