Zondo Believes Zuma Should Be Given His Flowers

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has hailed former president Jacob Zuma as one of the transformative presidents who played a huge role in the development of a well-functioning judiciary system.

Zondo delivered a keynote address at the Judges Conference in Sun City, in the North West.

Lately, the chief justice has received backlash for involving himself in matters of politics.

This is after he made comments alleging that Zuma’s innocence should not be up for trial concerning state capture allegations.

This statement received mixed emotions with legal experts calling out Zondo as the leader of the judiciary to avoid commenting on such cases and political battles as this undermines the work done by the Chief Justice’s office and Zondo has noted Zuma’s work in the establishment of a judicially based system of court administration.
