Police in Gauteng have made a breakthrough in the murder case of Kaizer Chief Defender Luke Fleurs.

Six suspects have been arrested in connection to the footballer’s gruesome killing.

The 24-year-old soccer player was shot and killed in a hijacking at a petrol station in the northwest of Johannesburg last week Wednesday.

Police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo, says the suspects will appear at the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
