Cele Warns Police Not To Die With Their Service Pistols In Their Holster

Police minister, Bheki Cele, has called on members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) members across the country to be the first to act when they are faced with an imminent threat.
He had been speaking at the funeral of Sergeant Kedi Masilo in the North West.
Masilo and another officer were shot and killed while on duty last week.
Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, says the minister has expressed concern that 31 police officials have been killed in the past three months.
