KwaZulu-Natal’s Coalition Government Under Fire from EFF for Ineffectiveness.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in KwaZulu-Natal have criticised the Government of National Unity (GNU), describing it as an exploitation of the citizens.

Treasurer Chuma Wakeni has expressed concerns that the GNU leadership has not demonstrated sufficient commitment or effectiveness to justify its existence.

Following the elections on May 29, the ANC was unable to retain power, leading to a coalition agreement that formed the GNU with various parties at both national and provincial levels.

In KwaZulu-Natal, the IFP, ANC, DA, and NFP now govern the province in a coalition.

Wakeni argues that this coalition fails to prioritise the interests of the people and focuses instead on political manoeuvring.
