KZN MEC Buthelezi vows aid for wildfire-stricken farmers as losses mount.

Thulasizwe Buthelezi, the KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC, has assured farmers affected by the wildfires that they will receive necessary assistance.

At least ten people have died, and areas including King Cetshwayo, Nkandla, Umlalazi, and Zululand Districts have been severely affected.

MEC spokesperson Senzelwe Mzila stated that farmers are estimated to have lost over 1,600 animals.
