The South African Zionist Federation has condemned the South African government’s alignment with Iran and terrorist groups as tensions in the Middle East escalate.
The federation criticises the government’s recent silence and support for rogue states, including Iran and Hezbollah, arguing that it contradicts ethical standards and threatens economic ties with the US and Europe.
Spokesperson Rolene Marks has called for a shift to a balanced foreign policy that supports Israel’s right to self-defence and seeks peaceful conflict resolution.
