The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) says an intermittent technical glitch on Postbank’s payment system has been resolved.
The glitch left thousands of pensioners across the country without their grants on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
Grant recipients could not access their money from retailers and ATMs.
Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, Sassa’s spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi says they apologise to the valued customers for the inconvenience caused by this incident.
