Witness A at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has made damning allegations, naming underworld kingpin, Katiso Molefe as the mastermind who ordered the hit on Transnet whistleblower, Armand Swart.
Swart was murdered after corruption was exposed at Transnet last year.
The witness has detailed how police discovered 15 rifle cartridges placed inside a plastic bag in the car belonging to the South African Police officer Micheal Pule Tau, who’s implicated in the murder of Swart who an engineer was.
The officer was arrested alongside two other suspects.
Witness ‘A’, who’s evidence is being led by Advocate Lee Segeels-Ncube has also alleged that the investigating team in the murder of Swart were invited to Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala’s home in May last year, where he also found the head of organised crime, Major-General Shibiri.
